Talk With Us About Your ITGO InfoTek’s history reaches back to G&O Computer Technologies, founded in 1988. As business technology changed, the company evolved from early PC and network support into network engineering, telecommunications, systems integration, outsourced IT and technology consulting. During this period of growth into professional consulting and systems design, the company operated as Gitter, Orlowsky & Associates — the name reflected on several of the reference letters below.
The name eventually became GO InfoTek, but the underlying approach stayed much the same: understand the organization first, then design the technology around what the business actually needs.
Our work has included complete outsourced IT management, network and systems architecture, multi-location infrastructure, telecommunications, construction coordination, business continuity, physical security, cybersecurity and strategic technology leadership.
Selected GO InfoTek experience
Miami HEAT · 1988–1999
Dave Gitter served as the Miami HEAT’s outsourced IT Director, supporting business, basketball and game operations as the organization grew. The engagement included the Miami Arena team offices and later the SunTrust Tower office network, cabling infrastructure and telecommunications.
American Airlines Arena · now Kaseya Center
The Miami HEAT relationship led to Dave’s role as Lead IT Consultant for the arena project, spanning voice systems, network infrastructure, cabling, access control, ticketing, concessions, accounting, HR and multi-vendor systems integration.
Miami Performing Arts Center · now Adrienne Arsht Center
GO InfoTek worked with pre-opening staff and senior management on network architecture, IT planning, construction coordination, virtualization and application deployment. The image shows the Final Steel event during construction.
Pointe Bank
GO InfoTek provided consulting and outsourced IT services to a growing private banking organization, including the complete redesign and build-out of its mortgage division’s technology environment. As the bank expanded, GO InfoTek designed network and telecommunications infrastructure for additional branches.
CAREFLORIDA / FOUNDATION HEALTH
GO InfoTek designed and supported network, cabling and telecommunications infrastructure for more than 20 CareFlorida/Foundation Health locations across Florida. The work included telecom-room design, premises wiring, telephone systems and coordinated deployment of more than 1,000 workstations and related devices.
Founder experience
These engagements were performed while Dave served in senior technical roles with Micro Security and, following its acquisition, NextGen Security. They are not presented as GO InfoTek client projects.
MICRO SECURITY / NEXTGEN SECURITY · 2005–PRESENT
Dave joined Micro Security in 2005 as its senior technical leader, directing research and development, technical architecture and the delivery of custom-engineered electronic security solutions for complex customer environments. As his role expanded, he became the company’s vCTO, providing executive-level technology leadership across major projects involving enterprise networking, video surveillance, access control, systems integration and cybersecurity.
His project leadership included major engagements at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Miami International Airport, U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the City of Fort Lauderdale. Following Micro Security’s acquisition by NextGen Security, he continued supporting legacy Micro Security environments and key accounts as Senior Program Manager IT.
FORT LAUDERDALE-HOLLYWOOD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT · 2006–PRESENT
Dave has served as a senior technical lead on the airport-wide IP video-security platform and its integration with access control, spanning design validation, network architecture, cabling infrastructure, systems integration and ongoing expansion. His responsibilities have also included development of custom CCTV/access-control integration, cybersecurity risk assessment and vulnerability remediation, and technical coordination among the Airport, Broward County, contractors, vendors and manufacturers. He has additionally served as the Micro Security cybersecurity incident-response lead and technical liaison with CISA for planning and incident response.
The platform has grown to more than 3,400 camera streams, approximately 150 servers and more than 8 petabytes of storage.
